Hi, I'm Amy.

I'm so glad you're here! I am just a girl in her 20's that loves her job! I have a wonderful Fiance who I love with all my heart, and a five-year-old son who lights up our world, no doubt. My life is jam-packed with the greatest support system of friends and family. They have made it possible to be who I am today. I can't imagine my life without them by my side! I also have a couple cats, a fish, and a rambunctious German Shepherd, named Gunner.

For over 10 years, I have always been the one with a camera in my hand. I see beauty in everything, every where I go! I have definitely had my fair share of disposables, film, scrap-books, and floor-to-ceiling walls covered in 4x6 prints of every one (and thing) that I loved. That passion overlapped into adulthood when I began to focus on making a career out of photography. Sleepless nights and endless days of learning the ins-and-outs of the field. It's amazing finding new ways to improve. Although I will always have more to learn - and I LOVE that - I currently have years of research, practice, and on-the-job training under my belt.

"Amy did our wedding photography and I do not hold an ounce of regret. She was beyond phenomenal! Amy made me and my husband both feel so comfortable which I believe had a lot to do with our amazing pictures. Her obvious love for photography and her clients can be seen through every photography. I plan to use Amy for all future life changing steps in our life!"

"Amy has captured all of the life changing moments for my family. From engagement and wedding photos to family photos when we've added new additions, she's done it all for us. She feels more like family than just our photographer now. Amy is so patient with kiddos and knows just what to do to make sure our pictures come out amazing. There is nobody else that I trust more to capture the exciting times in our life!"

"Amy is magic. Literally magic. I've been having her do my families photos for seven years now and she continually blown me away by her gift. There is no one else I would trust to capture all of the important life events in my life. Book with her, you WILL NOT regret it for even a second."

You've looked over my gallery and like what you see. You're ready to discuss details and set up a date. Sweet! Now what?

All of my sessions are envisioned from head to toe - literally. Preparing your family before the shoot will make your photos that much more enjoyable.

I LOVE detail shots! Make sure hair, make up, even (especially!) fingernails are photo ready! Nothing worse than having the PERFECT shot, but realizing you forgot to get a manicure! Even simply taking off chipped nail polish will suffice.

Remember that coordinating (not so much perfectly matching) clothing will also pull the photos together for a sleek and stylish session. Try to stay away from neon colors - they don't photograph well. Also, sometimes less is more when it comes to patterns!

Professional hair and make up is not necessary (however it is an option). I have a few  professional referrals that will take very good care of you!

Last but not least - think about the fit of clothes. Something that is overly tight, or low-cut, may not be fit for certain poses (sitting, kneeling, etc), therefore limiting the look of the gallery. Try to make sure everything is comfortable and covered (especially undergarments - no bras showing!) when bending, twisting, and even jumping (hey, you never know how crazy a session will get!)

Now we're good to go.
